This is my attempt at expressing my busy, procrastinating life. Obviously, these things keep me from posting often.

A Postulate

I have a theory...
It is based on some essential questions...

Who is God?
Is He a community?
Who is He for us?
Do we belong to Him?
Is Christ in us, and we in Him?
Are we together with Him?

The answer to these is my theory: If Christ is in God and we are in Christ, then we are in God and He in us. If God is the community of the Holy Spirit, Christ, and the Father; if WE are together in that community with God, then we are a community.

That seems logical to me. So if we are a community, and God is a community, and He is a part of our community... It stands to reason that showing Love to all others in our community is the equivalent of Loving God.

Duh!!! Isn't that what Jesus said anyway?? So anyway, you see my logic and now you understand from a different point of view that we are called to Love one another.

I have this idea about relationships with people. Some people think that God should come before any person. While I am not refuting this, it seems to me that some people are too harsh with this idea. They may say that to put anyone before God is a sin, to act in such a way is a betrayal of the Lord. I say that putting any human life above all else in the world is the same thing as putting God above all else. Any action toward any person is one in the same with an action toward God, as justified earlier.

I say this to settle any fears that you are not putting God at the forefront of your life. As long as no worldly possession, activity, etc. is not your focus, you are fine. If you feel that you should put God (not His human representation) first, then you may find good company with the religious; that is how they live (ideally). Basically, I don't see how any married person, or mother/father, can live without their spouse/child as the focus of their life. This may not sit well with you, and that's okay. This is just my idea; an example of how I justify my Love for my friends consuming a majority of my time. I feel that when I'm with my friends (hangin' out), I'm actually with God; this is because I see God in all of my closest friends.

As Sends said, it was a very thought provoking blog and it kinda made my head hurt, but I saw where you were going and also ditto for Sends' thanks comment... although I probably shouldn't assume that I was one of those friends b/c you know what happens when we assume....

hummmm... yes thought provoking indeed. I'll think about it later since I am procrastinating right now and need to use all my thinking for physiology!

But did you just call me (and others) "God?"

And as Dave would say, "Muhaha"
